I’m stuck trying to figure out how many linear feet there are per gram.

Yeah, well, we see how well that’s working out.
Not European I live in the US.
Counterpoint to this is that you sacrifice your principles and vote Party A and they still wind up losing again and again leaving Party B to run the entire government. Your vote was a throwaway vote anyway, so what would have been the harm in voting Party C?
Perhaps with enough momentum, Party C can reinvigorate the 50% of eligible voters who don’t even bother to show up due to years of disappointment and apathy with both Party A and Party B. How many times are you willing to vote Party A if they keep backing terrible candidates who can’t win, and even when they do by razor thin margins, do little to stem the tide of destruction? What are you gaining out of this system?
I’d argue that your mentality only encourages poor performance out of our elected officials and these two parties since they can count on you, and those on the other side, to vote for them regardless of what they do or don’t do, how well or bad they perform, and whatever promises they may or may not keep. What is even the point of voting for candidates when all you’re doing is voting for a specific party? They might as well make the election automatic based on whatever party everyone registers as. What’s the difference?
To me, this mentality is no different than those apathetic voters who sit out every election because all you’re doing is keeping this fucked up system going and expecting things to get better without doing anything different to change the outcome.
I’ve had the TSA dig through my 6 year old child’s bag of goldfish crackers before. Thank goodness they’re there to protect us.
There are other parties but people are seemingly too scared to vote for them and would prefer things continue down this path to ruin we’ve been on for the last 40-50 years.
Considering they’re arguing that stuff he did before he even got elected in 2016 counts as “official presidential duties,” it seems nothing is off the table as an official act.
Same here which is why I jumped on the X1C now. Companies like this always release the good shit first and each future model always lose features and usability bit by bit.
This change is annoying but not the end of the world. I don’t regret my purchase one hit because the machine is top notch compared to what I had previously.
It’s a crazy design. In the past I’ve seen others use a treadmill style bed which seems a lot less complex and accomplishes the same thing, but I’m curious to see how this works out. I’ve also seen people use the extruder to intentionally knock parts off, but this will probably cause issues longterm.
I agree it’s not really practical for “home use” especially with a $2500 price tag.
Some really shitty wall anchors
Have you ever considered uploading some of this? The original Beavis and Butthead was patched back together using a combination of sources including VHS and DVD releases and uploaded to the high seas as the “King Turd Collection.” This stuff could be valuable to others.
Since you’re running on a Pi, you’ll want something that has the most codec compatibility to avoid transcoding. Something like the Nvidia Shield could work, but they haven’t updated it since 2019 and it’s ridiculously expensive. Perhaps check into the AppleTV box as they’ve probably kept up to date on hardware. Sticks should have a lot of compatibility and cheap but you may need to download a different version of a movie/show every now and then due to incompatibility.
So the one friggin person to answer the question deleted their comment? I feel relatively ‘connected’ online and I have no idea what OP is referring to.
Edit: Jesus christ it’s “social media.” Why not just spell it out?
Or he’ll just claim he wasn’t a part of it and “some very bad people” are the ones responsible for their losses.
Doesn’t matter because the president is immune from the law.
At some point there will be a correction and history will not look kindly on these people.
All good!
BTW Kevin Heffernan wrote Super Troopers not Kevin James (who coincidentally went by “Doug Heffernan” in King of Queens to add another layer of confusion to this) though they do look similar.
Fair enough, but you’re talking about replacing streaming services with DVDs, and unless you’re relegating yourself to SD content made over a decade ago and prior, you’re going to have a rough time.
There are much better ways, and that involves the high seas.
Seems pretty spot on and it has been this way for years. Even in 2020 when I bought my first printer, Prusa was charging $1,000 for a printer that everyone else was selling for $300-$400. They only maintained through that due to good will from the community and the rest of the market outside of Creality being little cottage-type businesses that weren’t selling high volume.
Even now in addition to the closed-source boards, they have a closed-source cloud-based smartphone app
Here’s a 2 year old post on reddit bringing up the same concerns:

That’s the joke.
This is the opening scene from Scream (1996) except this time Paul Blart is the killer.
Same here. I have a media server and just spent an afternoon of my weekend replacing a failed Seagate drive that was only used to to backup my more important files nightly that was purchased maybe 4-5 years ago. In the past 10 years, this is the third failed Seagate drive I’ve encountered (out of 5 total) while I have 9 WD drives that have had zero issues. One of them is even dedicated to torrents with constant R/W that is still chugging along just fine.
