It wasn’t Bill & Ted but actually Ms. Swift that might unite and save the future. What a timeline.

SeedyOneto RetroGaming@lemmy.world•That Portal 64 demake we liked so much has been kiboshed by Valve: 'They have asked me to take the project down,' creator saysEnglish411·1 year agoYes, but mainly because Valve doesn’t want to deal with Nintendo’s lawyers since it used their libraries.
Amazing, I’ll have to look into that.
Wait, you can do that? What comes over? Custom keyword blocks and such? I left my old version installed in hopes I could export/import but thought that might be left out…
SeedyOneto News@lemmy.world•Biden says UAW should fight for 40% pay raise in Michigan strike visit5·2 years agoCriticism is totally fine and often deserved, I’m just saying using the rail strike (or any past Biden ball-drops) as a measuring stick for this one servers little purpose and detracts from the core issue. He should be held to task for those things when it comes election time, not fielding “but what about XYZ?” statements.
SeedyOneto News@lemmy.world•Biden says UAW should fight for 40% pay raise in Michigan strike visit5·2 years agoFair point! Thanks.
What’s specifically so much better about it? We’ve got years of watchlists and customizations to our Plex and it works flawlessly but if there’s a compelling reason beyond “it’s the new hotness” I’m all ears.
SeedyOneto News@lemmy.world•Biden says UAW should fight for 40% pay raise in Michigan strike visit1814·2 years agoThen perhaps they shouldn’t have accepted it and striked as planned? The fact that it wasn’t “enough” for the workers isn’t on the POTUS and doesn’t negate his actions.
Something about that contoured window with the old school red LEDs behind it really resonates with me.

SeedyOneto Privacy@lemmy.ml•The Tesco Clubcard Data Scam | Exposed: How Supermarkets Are Making Billions from Your Data1·2 years agoUsed it last week on a trip to the PNW, still works. I didn’t know the area code locally but asked the checkout guy, popped in Jenny’s number as the rest and boom.
There are far better uses of your time than white-knighting perceived toxicity in such a tame thread. It’s not even your thin skin or this supposed disagreement in what’s toxic and what isn’t that gets me.
It’s your blatant hypocrisy in an “I’m taking my ball and going home” style statement only to write paragraph after paragraph of self-serving bullshit afterwards, calling a community out and THEN trying to justify your actions in post after post. If you’d just left and not gone edit/response wild, we’d be done long ago…but I think you just NEED to get the last word. We’ll bud, it’s all yours, we’re moving on.
Just tried it, looks and feels like I remember. Hoping OLED theme is in the works as I do miss the solid black background.
SeedyOneto memes@lemmy.world•This is the game that Bethesda says we need to upgrade our PCs for?191·2 years agoYou joke but way back in the day those 3D pipes caused a little IT chaos…
You asking others what their comment adds when you’ve been ranting and raving a day after you claimed you wouldn’t participate here is telling.
As you condescendingly told the guy who didn’t properly screenshot his /c/privacy issue last week, “You can do better in the future”.
Today you learned that a biased result isn’t necessarily an incorrect one. Sometimes in life, a spade really is a spade.
Seems the universe says otherwise.
