Drone pilot from Germany here, they have no place hovering over your property, more strictly even they’re not allowed to fly in any way that allows them to view your garden from above. You can shoot down the drone and it’s their problem note that this is in Germany not the US (which surprised me tbh).

However, that said, could be that it’s the same pilot again and again, even if it’s different birds. Normally they are very cooperative, just ask them to stop and they’ll apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Southern German here, went to Austria, Prague, the Netherlands, Scotland, even northern Germany. Always worked fine except for northern Germany, that’s a 50/50 chance of going wrong. Will keep doing that in the future, especially with the expanding night train services.

It baffles me how short lived the memory of people is. We thought about that and it actually is not that bad. The mobile reception is - for how remote you are - astounding and we took some extra insurances in case we need a lift out. But that only goes so far - it will still take some time for a helicopter to come, but the same can be said about an ambulance in traffic I guess…

It may not look like it… But there is only 2 options at this point, go forward or back. It’s part of a larger hiking trail and while this stretch looks still pretty tame, it gets quite challenging in the mountains, so even experienced explorers stick with the paths here :)

To give you some idea of the scale: if you look closely the small gray dots in the middle of the right hand side are humans. The pool with the smooth surface at 12-2 o’clock is in the tip over 2m deep, showing his incredibly clear the water there is. We went swimming in that pool, while the waves with roughly a meter amplitude were crashing in from the left. It is filled with schools of young fish and crabs.
