I think this was just announced/released so I’d doubt that someone already has received a refurbished model yet. The 512gb is overkill imo, performance wise each model is the same except for storage quality/size. You can purchase a bigger drive and install it yourself fairly easy and save quite a bit of money. Also an SD card can be used for storage as well.

I would say for your the uses you listed I would get a Ryzen 5. You can upgrade later if you really need to. But I think everything you listed can easily be done on a Ryzen 5. How much ram are you thinking of getting?
