I agree! Hahaha Ignis had his scars from before (at character creation - he has one other scar not quite visible on the opposite side). Rick had only one at the eye, but got the scar on the nose due to all the traps he was triggering, one of which cut his nose off. Thankfully we had a healer to fix it back up. So it ended up being mostly a coincidence they ended up matching.
