Not sure if they have this specific GPU or not, but I know AWS has on-demand instances with GPUs (and other cloud providers like Google likely do as well). It’s probably just a matter of time before somebody deploys self-service images so a business that got hit by this ransomware could quickly recover on their own.

I don’t know about you, but I also rely on sounds & feel when I drive. I also know that the human eye has evolved to detect motion, filter out extraneous information, and send just the important bits to the brain so that it doesn’t get overloaded with everything the eye sees. Computer vision is the exact opposite from that, having to process every bit of every image the camera sees.
Not sure how much their non-automotive market is, but they do have other product lines, like solar, battery backup, etc.
Their battery systems run the gamut from Powerwalls for the home to huge utility-grade systems that power companies around the world purchase.
I have a neighbor that has solar panels & a powerwall. He showed me how over the summer excess power is sold back to the power utilities as part of a distributed virtual power plant that consists of over 1200 powerwall owners around the region.
Not to worry. Once all those pesky regulations from entities like the EPA, FTC, FAA, etc. are all wiped out the corporations will see huge profits unlike anything they’ve ever seen before.
Not to mention it has the potential to completely distract the driver when the light turns green and other traffic starts moving again.

I’d be surprised if that worked these days. They do much more than just a cursory check whenever we go. And they also now scan your membership when you enter, and your photo pops up on their tablets. I’d be curious what would happen if the photo didn’t match…

Every American should file for a refund of all the SS taxes they paid when they do their income taxes next year. With the gutting of the IRS on top of SS, they’ll probably accept those claims without question and accept those refunds.

I recently attended a talk by Admiral James Stavridis, who among other thing was the 16th NATO Supreme Allied Commander. He feels the EU will be able to defend itself if the US abandons NATO, etc. Between the manpower the European members has to draw on, their existing defense & manufacturing industries, their shared mistrust of Putin, etc. they have a lot going for them.
