I agree with everything youve said except i find it profoundly disturbing that people think we still have elections. We have elections in the same way north korea or russia. You currently live under a dictatorship that is in the power consolodation phase. Elections are over. They only exist to give the thinnest of veneers of democracy.

Imagine being taught that when you think, that voice in your head is god speaking. Now understand that ANYTHING god says or does is righteous…never trust a christian indeed. Its literally induced schizophrenia and narcissism.

I strongly recommend not talking to other humans, it never ends well. Have you considered a cat?

I suppose christians would have to go to church to have their preacher misinterpret their book of lies instead of having their own copy collecting dust having never been read? So basically nothing changes.

Youre describing nostalgia. Generally pschologists see nostalgia as a negative thing because our brain prunes the bad stuff from memory and holds onto the good which gives us a distorted view of the past. They suggest instead to practice gratitude. Take time to appreciate all the good things you have now. Remember that ruminating on the past leads to depression and ruminating on the future leads to anxiety.
