  • Not an easy win but overall I think we deserved it.

Salzburg quite impressed me, I expected a much weaker side given they won just 1 of the last Bundesliga games but are definitely a decent team and have good chances to take at least 1 point in the next game. Pavlovic rock solid, this guy will play for an EPL top6 team next season imho given Bayern don’t need other CBs, gg also from Gloukh.

I’d like also to congratulate all the italian teams for the results obtained so far in Europe, one only loss in FIFTEEN games played up to now (vs Madrid) is big, out SEVEN clubs have suffered LESS losses than MANCHESTER UNITED alone, IMPRESSIVE stat (it’s not casual I write it now tho, I expect two defeats from tomorrow’s games)

  • Population:

    • Germany: 83m
    • Spain: 47m

    GDP per capita

    • Germany: 51.200 US Dollars

    • Spain: 30.100 US Dollars

And considering that pretty much fussball is popular in Germany as much as futbol in Spain I’d be very surprising if it would be otherwise.

Considering the german domestic TV deal is for Buli and 2.Buli then I’m still quite surprised that Bundesliga is on pair with La Liga given both Germany’s population and GDP are almost TWICE as Spain which means there are MORE people willing to watch football and willing to spend MORE money given their higher salaries compared to Iberia.

The real standing for the domestic TV rights considering the quality of the league, GDP, population and soccer popularity in a certain country the standing should be: EPL >> Bundesliga > Serie A = Spain = Ligue 1

    Well done Javier Tebas.

  • It’s probably good for Serie A as it allows our clubs to offer bigger wages and so be more competitive on the transfer market but it’s definitely bad for Italian NT…

Seeing Starting XIs like AC Milan or Napoli (one only italian in both, the Right Backs Calabra and Di Lorenzo), seeing transfer policies as

AC Milan that this summer sold a generational for our NT Tonali to replace him with players from abroad only just to take advantage in full force of Growth decree and save on salaries

    or

AS Roma that given had no money, proceeded to get a bunch of bang average players as Aouar, Ndicka, Kristensen, Llorente for the same reason instead of betting on some italian youngster, from their youth as Volpato or Tahirovic or Missori

Except for Inter (Bastoni, Dimarco, Barella, Frattesi) I don’t see anymore italian top clubs caring to develop homegrown player.
