The only IRL friend I have is one that I met in elementary school. Not on the best of terms but we were somewhat similar kind of weird. Also very introverted but also anxious. I have no idea how people make friends and where to start.

I might be wrong but I think people would gladly pay 50% of their income as tax if it meant they would get their basic needs met and see the money be put to a good use. Imagine getting just half your pay but be able to fully use it on whatever you want and not have to worry about food and rent. Or at least that’s what I’d like to believe.

If repairman laugh at durable machinery they either just want your money or don’t care about longevity. My father usually tells people to keep the old one if it’s still working cuz the newer ones break down after a year or two and suck to repair (simple stuff just replaced with electronics that you have to replace whole for half the price of the whole machine).
