Very interesting storylines going on now in my opinion. I’m very intrigued by how some young talent has been pushed up on the card lately. Most matches continue to be top caliber as well.

It certainly is. I haven’t enjoyed a monthly Spider-Man comic this much since the JMS & Rosita Jr. run. The new Ultimate run is living up to the hype and features great characters, plot and art. It’s the excellent ongoing comic Spidey fans deserve and have been waiting for.

I’m hoping that some of the anthology stories may be adapted from the anthology novels. Preds win in some of those stories.

Are you talking about stepping into the beginning of the Taylor Redondo run? If so, then I would say yes, it is new reader friendly. A few times it touches on what has happened in previous 5–10 years and there are one or two cross-over arcs but I found it very self-contained as I hadn’t read the title since the 90s and wasn’t lost.
