I think with the “Sierra Leone declares emergency over mpox outbreak” headline from today, we might tip in to a new record breaking year wikiwiki !

I couldn’t find any legalese on mastodon.social that my toots are somehow not my property. While it’s true that I no longer have total control over its distribution, that doesn’t mean I have somehow relinquished ownership.
You seem quite confident that that is incorrect , with your one line reply. Could you link or explain where you got this information?
This question made me think of this:
I think Chris Pratt finds out he enjoys getting slapped across the face when he and Aubrey Plaza are roleplaying in character in Parks and Rec.
In one of the outtakes he has to basically hide his boner after she yells ‘how dare you!’ and slaps him across the face. Then he has to fall out of character and tell them he has to cool off a bit and can’t continue.
I have recently been using it more to connect with others on a new subject, but now for the first time ever on the internet since early 00’s, we are all owners of it ourselves. All the great new stuff was always owned by others and frankly I’m sick of it.
I never even liked twitter. Then I followed #nature and #bloomscrolling on mastodon for a while and my home feed was a feast of beautiful pics. So now there’s one use for me for microblogging. Neat! Mastodon does what it says it does and even offers ‘default’ instances. I’d love for some GO’s to help reach that donation goal quicker, so we can all get with the program and ditch corpo social media. -Why doesn’t my library host it’s own peertube?? #MakeLibrariesGreatAgain
They can now win every argument with: " yeah, but I never shook his hand so,“- " this is my sandwich now.”
Owner of that drone :
Oh no! 😮 That’s fricked up.
Bowtie, but also prefer them IRL over a necktie.
I’m developing my first vidyagame, an RTS Clicker survival where you have to grow to be the largest organism on the planet, called Infinitree. Steampage going up in February, prototype is going out to F&F this month. Check out The Infinitree website for more info :-)

Wow, and another! Never knew, fantastic, thanks.
It’s not adjusting to become more like it, it’s adjusting so you can navigate… This Points at everything
Those Azul bricks man, they feel fantastic. I kind of love the way my Quacks from Quedlingburg looks with the printed add ons and custom baggies:
But Sagrada takes the crown for looks I think:
I guess with everything combined, one toastie is closer to 300 kcal, (local nutrition org says 81kcal per slice of bread) and doesn’t really fit the low cal request, it’s true.
It works so well for me for staying away from just rawdogging a whole bag of potato chips, which isn’t even that much more calories, but the type of calories are way worse.
The 6600 is in a price range where you probably also get the most FPS/$. Should be fine for casual 1440p gaming.
I do ham and cheese full fibre toasties. About 150-200kcal but very filling. Not having any ‘bad’ snacks immediately available in the house also helps a lot.
This, ask questions, listen to the answers. If the personalities are so very different, I would make sure that i bring an extra dose of patience and chill, so that any moments where the personalities might ‘clash’ or find each other can be passed with respect and empathy, instead of frustration and emotion.
If I need more ‘connection power’, I will omit any negative comments that might float up my brain and keep them for myself for a while, and only focus on sharing my positive or neutral (philosophical?) thoughts about the current subject. Hope you can find some points to connect, but taking this kind of step to help that along is already a great sign :-). If you could update us in a while, I would love that.
EDIT I saw a list of his hobbies you shared, that opens up the convo a lot!
Minecraft, baking and cooking would be my focus, because all of that can be co-op :-) and it aligns with my interests. You could start a Minecraft world together, so he can show you how it works. You could bake a cake together, or bake your own cake and then ask for tips on how to improve? Ask him what is his fav dish to cook and try to make a very good version of it together?
I grew up around dogs and when trying out the stuff I learned on cats, it worked about as well as we now might expect 😅. My theory was that I just didn’t get them, so I would pass up on interactions because nails.
Now I live with 2 cats of my own, and it’s super cozy. But there was quite the learning curve! It was fun to learn it all, though.
Anyway, wanting control is not just some weird kink/personality mishap when talking about it in context of dog ownership. Most of the time, either you are in control, or the dog is. Dogs in control are unsafe to be around, so you don’t really have a choice.
Maybe it could be a sub-part of the Friendica idea? That way, you don’t have the problem that once the user is done with the service, they leave. Some profile info might already be there, maybe get a list check-boxes as to which info you want facing the date-service side and off you go?
