Yeah but those are specifically designed for this. Linux Mint 22 isn’t designed to run with what is basically nothing nowadays.

1·4 minutes agoTbh, im currently using a Pixel, they are… Actually quite good, even without another OS, wich you can install.
I even controlled what it uploads, it doesn’t send data when i don’t agree to it (living in EU) so im fine with it and a custom launcher (the normal one sucks).
Samsung can go fuck themselves when i cant change what my phone does I’ll just use my fucking steam deck as phone.

This means you can find the pc and get THEIR OWN EMULATOR, make it open source and fuck them royally.

If you can verify a fact its not illegal unless in very specific circumstances.
Calling someone a pedophile without any proof and just because you hate them is very obviously not ok and will get you in legal trouble in almost every country in the world.
Calling other people pedophiles without anything backing that would get you a lawsuit even in USA, in every other country in the world much more so.

The algorithm “encrypted” disks have master keys you can find online usually, they are however hardly encrypted.
Technically yes, but only under very specific circumstances and from what i know you can’t distribute or get a tool for it from the internet, as the distributor goes into a very dark gray area.
And its also not giving you the right to run your own server if necessary, its also not allowed to crack hardware for it.
It should be legal, it should also be legal to crack any no longer supported software and set up servers for it, but currently it isn’t.
Breaking encryption is illegal in most countries, although nobody is actually abel to do something about it… Maybe Nintendo finds a way…
Nah im not defending anything, im saying that thats how it works and everyone that doesn’t meme a IRL NPC knows and understands that. I also don’t get why its about steam, every store is like that, but not because the store wants that, its the publishers, and they are the ones locking stuff. You could definitely sue them as they cant just shut down a service you paid for, but good luck with that.

Its not illegal for anyone else either, but them running such software for profit might be a licensing issue depending on the exact version they use.
