I make YouTube videos with AI:
Don’t forget Metropolis
Compared to reddit, yeah, kinda. On reddit it often feels like it’s not worth it commenting on a post if it’s popular and 14+ hours old. On Lemmy I will see new comments with the default sorting of comments.
I can see your post
Regulation is needed, that’s for sure.
It might be. Possibly this kind of stuff is OK because you can argue that it’s more of a concept, basically research, more than than an actual work of fiction using their likeness. That’s just speculation though, I really don’t know, but it will be interesting to see what laws we end up with for stuff like this.
No, I think it was generated using different parts that was then put together.
AI generated CSAM and CP should be treated the same, because you can’t generate anything without first having trained the model on the kind of content you want to generate.
There’s just something off about watching shorts and tiktok, if I use it for too long it feels like my head is going to explode. There’s some great content there for things I’m interested in, like quick tips for software that I use, but if I watch 5 of those in a row I’m not going to remember anything. All in all I think the format, and regular youtube, would work a lot better if they didn’t push so hard to get me to just sit there for hours on end.
Yeah. I feel like we’re kind of in a weird space right now, a short while ago basically anything you would try to create would be hilariously wrong. Now it might look a bit off, and you can’t get some specific camera angles or motions. I don’t even want to start on too big projects, by the time I’m done there’s been some huge improvements and everything I’ve done feels outdated.
A certified AI classic
Then we’re of the same age. On my 9th birthday all the boys had “the beckham haircut”. It makes sense that you managed to not know of him if you lived in the middle of nowhere, I can promise you that if you had lived in a city you wouldn’t have had a chance of not knowing who he is.
No, that’s Ronaldo. Around 20 years ago Beckham was one of the most famous people in the world
And to think I don’t even feel safe about buying something as innocent as a smart TV…
I don’t understand what the hell Google is doing. About 10 years ago I wanted to switch to DDG for privacy reasons but didn’t because I preferred the search results I got from Google - I switched to DDG last week to get better results. And it’s not just the main Google search, YouTube too has become terrible. I have a specific niche on youtube that I want to monitor and I’m struggling to use search to find relevant videos and the main page only want to recommend me 10-20 minute long videos of people talking about something. Appearently having all the data in the world isn’t enough to give me relevant results or recommendations.
Thanks!
I might make the switch, but what I really want is for Microsoft to get their shit together.
I agree 100%. His podcasts can be interesting or entertaining some times, depending on the guests. When he talks to some other comedians like Theo Von and Joey Diaz it can be very entertaining, or when he’s talking to people in sports & fitness. To me he’s always been this wacky stoner triphead character, someone that can be fun to have around occasionally but not someone that you want to talk about serious topics with. My impression is that he’s been getting more crazy and conspiratorical after covid hit, I certainly listen to him a lot less ever since.
Yeah. I feel like I’ve seen a years progress just in the last month

I really don’t need a subscription service to give me access to even more games that I’ll just launch and play for about 20 minutes before I go back to playing battlefield 4
