And being able to look in the mirror and tell myself that I won’t sell my soul to boost my career earnings from €75M to €100M. And being able to set an example for my kids that they should care about more than just material possessions, and not allow greed to drive every decision they make in their lives.
Nobody said it isn’t his choice, just that the choice he made is disappointing and spits in the face of the LGBTQ community that he pretended to care about.

On the England situation:

He is clearly saying in both situations that he wants to challenge for more time, but is also picking up and pushing his competition to be at their best. Interpreting that as “breaking his silence on the ‘suffering’ he has endured” is clickbait.
I’m a firm believer that you need to give a manager time (usually at least 3 years) to get his players into the team and teach his system to them. But my God United are so hopelessly dysfunctional and I really don’t see the light at the end of the tunnel, I think ETH has to go.
