I haven’t had it in quite a while as the niche soda shop in my city closed down during the pandemic. I love moxie. It has a very divisive taste though, everyone I’ve had try it either hates or loves it.

Go better, get a sarsaparilla. Many different root sodas to try, go to the nearest novelty soda shop or check online for small brand, real ingredient, glass bottle, root-based soda.

Edit: I don’t know the availability of this stuff outside of the us, but it won’t be hard to find in your closest large city worst case scenario. Ace hardware even has a small selection of “real” soda at checkout.
