How many parts can you reuse for new gen server?

Hello

I’m currently running an HPE DL360 Gen9, and am considering upgrading to DL380 Gen10.

Since the motherboard and most components are the same for the Gen9, I did some search on what can be reused on the Gen10.

Seems this is a terrible and expensive idea: CPU, memory cannot be re-used in the Gen10.

Any thoughts?
