Why would they have a solution? They are the problem. Carbon capture is the dream that we can continue the way we did but without the bad feeling. Not gonna happen. We can’t Deus ex machina ourselves out of this shit. We have to work and make sacrifices.

We have to work and make sacrifices.

Most importantly we have to find a new ideology go make lessen the wrap of capitalism on the world.

Current outlook is only making it worse until suffering is inevitable.

But even then our economy gets affected in a negative way and “growing our way out” is also in the future not sustainable.

It’s terrible as a solution to climate change, but it’s fantastic as a solution to being hassled about climate change. Run your clean coal through carbon capture powered by clean natural gas and your politician friends can pretend that climate change is a lesser problem than some bullshit about trans people playing sports.

Growing trees and burying them while at the same time simply stopping the use of fossil fuels.

It exists as technology, and as a bi-product we can get healthier forests and maybe some wood products.

Most importantly, a ban on fossil fuels development or profiting from fossil fuels.

    Reduce, Reuse, last Recycle, right?

Reduction is supposed to be 1st, as it’s the most effective.

Carbon-capture development burns fossil fuels, then slightly-reduces the emissions…

    It is a red herring.

Necessary, for those small cases where fossil fuels need to remain ( but unworkable, for, say, long-haul jets, or long-haul trucks in cold climates, or the ability to cook in remote & cold places with no sun… )

Junkies, especially corporate junkies … tend to comply only when forced to do so.

Addiction is simply so completely beyond reason’s reach, that pretending that reason is going to sway people in time is … itself delusion.
