    what families? Most of “circle” swore off children because… “gestures at everything” imagine bringing up a child in the world as it is? I’d argue its tough enough just taking care of yourself.

    It’s annoying they still haven’t began thinking of the deficit more in MMT terms than a family budget. The pandemic reminded them of some lessons learned during WW2 but it seems that we’re reverting back to the neoclassical way of thinking. Public service that doesn’t compete with private sector really doesn’t need to be cut. Printing to fund it and it won’t increase inflation. If anything it would keep aggregate demand instead of shrinking it.
