This match eerily feels like we’re losing. It’s impressive how much Azteca can weigh.

At least we’ve held into the 20th minute. All we need now is one or two good inspiration plays at front to motivate the boys.

Really surprised at where Honduras seem to be at currently the only player that seems like he has some stardust over him these last many years is Elis but I can see they have a player in Celtic, hatayspor and getafe aswell now.

Still kind of weird to see them do this well as 4 of those players are offensive and only the player from Turkey looks like a midfielder according to their wiki.

Elis is also on the bench.

I forgot they have Najar aswell with tons of experience from Anderlecht I didn’t know he was a right back though remember him being in offensive lineups earlier in his career

Not great but not bad either. Too bad we had to concede from a free kick like that because Mexico fizzled out after the first 20 minutes.

Their defense is very vulnerable. We have to take advantage of that and score 1 goal. Otherwise it’s going to be a very tough 2nd half.

I just love listening to the announcers rip Chucky over and over for being shit. The severity and bluntness of the word choices are so different from the relatively polite language English-language announcers would be using. Like “Chucky is really struggling” becomes “Chucky is once again terrible and does not belong on the field”
