    I, for one, think it’s a decent trade. I will admit I sideeyed it a bit at first too, but NJ is getting a pretty much sure thing, and Calgary is getting back someone who still has some upside, is young, and isn’t a bad performer as it is. Plus it beats dragging a disgruntled player all the way to trade deadline. And there’s a third round pick to boot. Kris Letang, Brad Marchand, etc., were all 3rd round picks.

    I dunno, I think come April we are all looking back at this trade and saying it was all in all a Calgary win. Tofolli is at his top, with nowhere to go from here but down, really. I think the trade to get him in the first place, was a bit stupid, but that’s sunk cost at this point. He shouldn’t have even been here in the first place though.
