I created a Discord server for emulation and console modding in Nova Scotia

Handheld emulators and console modding are something I have been really into for years and I wanted to create a community for it to make friends and share my skills and resources.

I thought it would be nice to have a place where we could trade and try out each others devices. For example see if the RG35XX is right size for you or how the RG350M feels compared to the RG405M.

Maybe you just need a tri-wing screwdriver or a Xbox 360 slim shim to open up your device? Someone could lend it to you so you aren’t waiting a month for a $5 part from Ali Express.

It could also be a good place to find people to game with over RetroArch’s Netplay or XLinkKai’s remote LAN.

Originally I tried creating a Matrix server for this and advertised it on Reddit but it seems like people weren’t willing to join a new platform for it so I settled on Discord to be a little more accessible. Eventually I might put in the effort to add bridges from Matrix to the Discord server if there is some interest.
