        There is no release clause in the contract. Also, I dont really get this point. It wouldn’t have been much of a saga if Chelsea just paid the asking price Brighton set at the start of the summer. In fact, that would have ended up saving Chelsea some money lol

      Tbf it was essentially a 1 year extension which surely netted him more money

      Idk anything about football negotiations, but in my mind there is absolutely 0 difference between a 2027 or 2028 contract when it comes to negotiating

    Amazing how this guy still gets posted. I don’t know how many times I have to say it, it’s a troll account, this guy is not a journalist, he has no sources, he has nothing that gives any credence to what he says apart from his follower count and his “”“verified”“” status. He’s the Portuguese equivalent of Ekrem Konur. Any posts from his account should be instantly deleted by the automoderator at this point, same for the aforementioned Ekrem Konur and Rudy Galletti too.
