I’ve been wondering this for a bit because I see other teams do it and I don’t know why.

    Home team has the choice of which uni to wear. Miami almost always wears white at home.

    They have done this forever. They make visiting teams wear their dark jerseys to make them sweat even more. Even the stadium is designed to have sunlight on the visitor’s bench, while the Miami bench gets shade.

    Kiffin had the Raiders wear white at home against the Chargers one year in the hot sun. Raiders fans were ready to riot. But I totally understand why Kiffin did it.

      That was literally his last game lol. I was there n remember being confused AF when they came out in the whites. The 76 yarder was pure comedy.

    Fun fact - Cowboys almost always wear white unis at home. And the Redskins did, too, back in the day. Especially when the Cowboys came to town in an effort to force the Cowboys to wear blue.
