    I mean, almost anyone in the NFL has potential. However, the further we push along the more and more historical data suggests he’ll be what’s expected of a 4th round pick. Is it possible he has a resurgence like Gannon? Sure. That just means it’ll be for another team.

    The team seems to gel around him, so that’s cool. They’ll just have to do a lot of compensating for his skill set. I still don’t think we bench him.

    I’m not sure he’s the future or anything, but this instant gratification culture of giving a rookie QB like 4 games to determine if he’s a franchise qb or not is just not good for anyone. Peyton Manning threw 28 INTs his first year and they stuck with him. Let him get some experience before we start asking these questions.

    I think he’s a backup which is absolutely fine for a 4th rounder. Backups play a shit ton in todays 17 game schedule
