Maybe an unpopular opinion but if the Jets give up much, seems like it might be something that could go wrong fast. Davante will be 32 next year. The fall off for elite WRs tends to be sudden and steep. The OL will be bad and Rodgers will be 41 coming off a torn Achilles. Feels like this year was their year, it got sunk, and now they’re chasing with dumb money.

I agree. Garrett Wilson and Breece Hall look like they could be stars. Fix the oline and get a real #2 receiver who isn’t just some guy Rodgers played with before.

Yeah all you have to do draft quality o linemen, sign cheap upgrades for the oline who outplay their contracts, AND draft a rookie wr who will contribute as a #2 immediately. It’s that easy

I mean Davante can very much be a Larry Fitzgerald type and play way into his 30s just on his football IQ and athleticism.

Unpopular opinion. Trading for Rodgers was stupid to begin with. It gave them an incredibly small window and they have a lot of offensive issues. Trading for Adams is going to be yet another 1 player away move. It’s just doubling down on the Rodgers decision. I think this was clearly the year if it was going to work.

Of course it can go wrong. Three Adams, Cobb, Lazard = retirement home of old packer WRs
