I get why the city prioritized the A’s over the Raiders - 81 games vs 8. But it was a big mistake, because I feel it’s become obvious that Davis was actually negotiating with Oakland in good faith while that was never the case with the A’s.
I still root for the Raiders as hard as I did when they were in LA and Oakland, but the Vegas thing is sad. It’s gonna wind up like the Phoenix market - oversaturated with teams that mostly don’t draw and don’t have any national appeal. Raiders in Oakland was special.
