If it was the other way around I would’ve made this comparison comment. All those billions spent, illegal stuff, one of the best run club’s, had best season and you still can’t catch Bayern who don’t have the biggest broadcasting revenue like EPL and who don’t charge fans overprice tickets. Sometimes you got to sit back and wonder how big are these clubs that even billions and legal stuff can’t catch them in couple of decades. If a normal club wants to compete in the right way it’s almost not possible. Asking this question doesn’t necessarily mean one is apologising for Manchester City or Chelsea. Incredible stuff if you zone out for a moment and think.
