He actually had a great interview but the only controversial thing is in the title.

The whole quote doesn’t make it sound too bad though to be honest. He said he respects what is going on and have to get behind Raya anyways as he is part of the family.

Think title is out of context a bit.

If history holds, he will and he and Arteta will push Raya out the club next season, completing Arteta’s heel turn. Then we will finally win the title uhhh Premiership

we may see it that way but when you look deeper Ramsdale admitted he “comprimised” with what Arteta wanted from him on a podcast. and in a post match press Arteta said raya is “doing what he instructed” and mistakes happen. reading between the lines Ramsadale refused to do what arteta asked him, raya doesnt, and arteta is asking ramsdale to step it up and do it too. and if he cant we dont have time to be nice. what he says to the public is to protect the players. he cant come out and say he has dropped ramsdale. that would not be fair on him.

The weird thing is someone like De Zerbi actually does rotate his keepers, so it’s not unprecedented. Arteta said he would do it and the just, didn’t.

I mean Arteta said he was going to sub them off if they’re having a bad game, that’s what I was referring to

You’d have to make a hyper-literal interpretation of what he said to think that was what’s gonna happen. Saying two players bring different things to the team is just a non-committal answer to having more than one player for a position. He’d probably say the same thing about Saka and Nelson, doesn’t mean they’ll be sharing minutes.

In 1997, HBK was supposed to wrestle Bret Hart in the main event of WrestleMania 13 and drop the belt to Hart in a rematch to their WrestleMania 12 match where HBK won the title.

HBK and Bret Hart didn’t get along and he didn’t want to do the job so a month before Mania, he came on RAW with a doctor’s note and said that his knee is injured and that he has to retire and that’s when he said that he lost his smile and will go back home to find it

He then returned full time to wrestling a couple of weeks after WrestleMania 13, miraculously fully healed.

Back in the mid 90s Shawn Michaels was the WWE (Then WWF) champion. He was supposed to be going into a storyline with Bret Hart and he would lose and drop the world championship to Bret. Shawn was a notorious dick during this time and had massive issues with Bret in real life. So Shawn basically came up with an excuse why he couldn’t work with Bret and that he had to take time off. So on an episode of Raw Shawn came out and told this big story of how his mother was saying he wasn’t himself lately and that he "lost his smile."He said he would vacate the title and leave the WWF to find his smile again. The whole thing was a shitty copout on Shawn’s part and became a meme in wrestling bubbles.

Seems like nowadays the footballers are cry babies who need their parents to air their son’s grievances while still earning millions. The footballers are adults and if the they feel indignant, just file for a transfer request! If transfer request is rejected, it is also their own decision to sign the lucrative contract.

It’s fucked tbh. Raya has done nothing that tells me he’s a better keeper.
