Here’s where I’m coming from…
AOC is doing great. His numbers are right there with the top of the league after three starts. He’s new and will need time to develop, of course…. but he showed he can hang with a top three defense.
Benefits here, he’s cheap. We have a great rookie contract to spend cap money elsewhere to build up the team around him. Bolster the OLine, pump up the defense, this is the way.
He’s averaging less than 200 yards a game and has more interceptions than touchdowns. Let’s hold off before we go anointing him the future of the franchise.
