He’s protecting the ball much better than we saw in his first appearance. I know he had a pick last night, but that Jets defense is no joke. Mahommes, Hurts, and Allen all had multiple picks against them.
That TD pass to Mayer was a beautiful read and react play by AOC. Kept his poise and kept his head up after Jets took away Tae’s route as the first read.
If you focus the offseason on building a stud offensive line to block for Jacobs and buy AOC a little bit more time, this team is going to be great. Another good DB wouldn’t hurt either.
A fourth round QB who won’t lose you games is a gift from god, he’s so cheap. He doesn’t need to be a God Tier. Just good enough to not lose you games on a regular basis.
