Word is with Harbaugh’s suspension he was clearly black listed and undermined by the other head coaches in his division and speculation is running rampant that he will leave college football for the NFL. In my opinion, even if AP improves team performance, Harbaugh is a clear proven winner everywhere he’s been and should be seriously considered for the the head coach position.

Not sure I want someone with his ego in the building. Let’s give Champ and AP a chance and see what happens. The players seem to love both and play hard for both. Bo seems promising and Graham has D improving. Very small sample size but again let’s see where the season takes us. Not to mention the cost Harbaugh would demand.

I agree. Hopefully, if Harbaugh interviews, he’s open to having a GM that’s independent, has as much say as him when it comes to personnel decisions, but who is on the same page and pulling in the same direction. That’s really what is important.

“Clearly proven winner” was also used with some other guys recently, din’t recall who they were can’t put my finger in it exactly, but I’m pretty sure it was more because they were winnimg with stable franchises nefore. There is a lot of work that needs to be done that a single HC/QB combo aren’t gonna fix and AP is on the right track even if he’s not the guy moving forward- re-establish our IDENTITY.

I personally believe Harbaugh is actually the perfect person, in ALL of football, to change the culture. Again, just my opinion.

My pick is oc from the lions and retain AC as assistant Head Coach with a hefty raise. I’d love Jon to be the man, but we likely don’t get a top tier OC on this team unless it’s too become the best coach. Exactly what we should have done with Bissacia.

Don’t know if anyone else saw Hindi’s top 5 list, but Jon Gruden was number 2. He said that A: The NFL may let Gruden come back because Gruden knows where the bodies are buried and could potentially get Goodell fired and B: Mark still LOVES Gruden. How about a situation where Gru comes back but has a separate, independent, with 50-50 control over personnel decisions?
