In something like the premier league, relegation exists. In the NFL, the penalty for being the worst team is the ability to draft the best player available coming out of college (except for the Panthers lol). That mixed with revenue sharing, in a league that posts growth year over year, buying an NFL franchise is just an asset that continues to appreciate no matter how bad you are. I don’t know what it is that motivates some owners to want to win, but when it comes to the numbers all 32 are constant winners. I hope Tepper actually wants to win, because every fanbase deserves that.
