Absolutely zero hope for this since the original creators left, but oh well, here’s a teaser.
Visual looks nice, but ehh that’s about it. No dialog from any character, and not sure if Aang will still be a silly monk or they gonna turn it into frown-container. I still maintain that live action is wholly unnecessary effort, it’s not like the og material is inaccessible.
My feeling exactly. Whenever an animated property is adapted to live action, it feels like it only exists because mainstream audiences have an aversion to taking animation seriously.
Visuals look cool, but that’s the technical side that you can throw money at. Very little choreography, but what’s there looks stunning. However there’s no acting. They didn’t showcased any scene, or dialogue delivery. So I think this series succeeds or fails on script and acting.
I’ve never seen the original show.
This teaser looks pretty bad. Rushed CG, poor lighting…
OH GOD PLEASE NO
I actually like the look of this. I won’t get my hopes up too much after the other live action version but this does feel a lot closer to the original animated show.

Yikes. I do not like the looks of that cast… Like, let’s hope they are all amazing actors or something. Zuko and his uncle… I just don’t see it.
