Manchester United fans were deceived by the signing of Raphael Varane, according to Gabriel Agbonlahor. The 30-year-old left Real Madrid for Old Trafford in the summer of 2021. Varane was part of t…
Sancho and Pogba were brilliant players at Dortmund and Juve (and Pogba was class for a while at United too). Dismissing them as media hype players is incredibly ignorant
They’re already saying it, because they spent boatloads on a player they already have and he’s sitting on the bench. Idk who it is, or if this many people are collectively clueless, but Ronaldo at least made sense on a sentimental note, Mount wasn’t needed whatsoever and it makes no sense to have him.
Mount is a fantastic player, you could see his quality even in his short time here. It’s just the wrong fit. We already have Bruno, buying him just makes no sense.
I thought Mount was going to be a Bruno back-up until I saw the pricetag, ain’t no way that amount of money was gonna be spent on a backup unless he starts…
Will be saying the same for mount next year.
One of the strangest signings I’ve ever seen
Uniteds transfer department must be full of clowns
Friendly reminder that Mason Mount cost only 4x as much as Julian Alvarez.
Yea, pretty obvious at this point that they base all their transfers on agents, media hype, and manager requests.
Simple as. Guys like Antony, Matic, Mihki are clear manager buys. Sancho, Pogba, etc. were media hype transfers.
Very few look like a part of a well-scouted, coherent, long-term plan.
Its a lot like what was happening at Arsenal during the dark days of Raul Sanllehi tbh, except this has been going on for 10+ years at ManU.

ETH is our transfer department lol
If I recall correctly, he refused to work with Ralf and wants to do the signings by himself.
That is correct. And look how well it’s worked out for us!
