      If he gets fired mid season it would be the most shameful firing in sports history… assuming he doesn’t do something illegal or extremely egregious like taking off his shirt in the middle of the game and throwing it into the stands MBC style

      Technically the Patriots could replace bill with a Labrador retriever too. Will it happen? No. But the possibility exists and there theories of infinite universes/multiverse where everything that could happen will happen.

    If Belichick gets fired, there will be a mad dash to hire him on another team. Coach’s that didn’t even have a bad year will get fired just for the chance at Belichick.

    Yeah. The odds are better of winning powerball than BB being fired in season. I wouldn’t take odds of him being fired if he went 1-16 for the season.

    I’m not saying it’s impossible. If Bill walks out in Frankfurt with his Frank furt then yeah, can him. He’s not going midseason barring completely un-Belichek behavior

    1. Make vague statement that is technically true. Belichick COULD be replaced after any game, but also this one.

    2. Journalists get to ask questions about said report.

    3. Write pieces on response to question about report.
