Looking for something similar to it but don’t love the size of the knobs. For a while I was thinking Sofle but I’d really like for there to be the two columns past the R5 “0” key. Anything else out there that’s ortho, columnar staggered, has rotary knobs near the thumb keys, and has 7 columns? Naya is the only one I’ve seen in my search so far.

I’m not a fan of backing Kickstarters in general. I’ve been burned by vaporware too many times. I’d like to see the product fully designed, produced, and reviewed before considering it.

It’s an interesting concept, but modularity in keyboards always seems to benefit the company, not the consumer. I think most people get a setup they like and leave it that. And meanwhile, to support the modularity, you have to deal with proprietary software (a red flag on a kickstarter), proprietary add-ons, a lack of repairability, and often compromised stability / points of failure.

That said, it’s an interesting idea. I’d be curious to see it’s final implementation, given it ever comes out.

I agree with all your points. Honestly, it’s a bit much in my opinion, both in cost and overall design. It’s trying to be minimal but I don’t think it comes off that way.

I won’t be picking one up but was intrigued by the premise of it at least.

I really haven’t found much else out there that mostly ticks the boxes for me aside from the Sofle so that’s probably what I’ll end up going with.

What are you using those outer columns for? I think if you embrace layers which is quite easy with all the thumb buttons available, it’s pretty easy to go sub 60%. You could also check out the Lulu for a rather premium feel board.

I don’t have much faith in this Kickstarter project tbh
