This is why the people in higher positions need replacing and should’ve never been given the roles though hold. “Good progress” the guy is taking the p*ss.

I’m not saying the story is wrong, but if Luckhirst told me the sky was blue, I’d be going outside to check first, and still be very sceptical if he was right.

It’s an easy story to write by a journalist who is nowhere near credible nowadays….

Not to mention, the club powerbroker mentioned in this title is likely out of a job by the end of the year.

Not really sure his position with anyone currently in situ matters…

It’s Ratcliff who will make the call when the deal is ratified, and Ten Hag has shown absolutely nothing to get himself kept on.

Finishing top 4 last season despite always looking like a bang average team probably hasn’t helped them.

The executives are fucking clueless about football and obviously didn’t see they were nowhere near competitive last season and this season is just reverting to the mean after over performing last season. But they just see numbers on the page and think “well done boys, good process”.

Getting lucky with Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham having rank seasons shouldn’t have convinced them that Man United were suddenly an okay football team.

Anyone actually surprised he’s being backed through an injury crisis after doing a very good job last year hasn’t a single clue

I feel like I’m losing my mind. Ten Hag has a much better winning percentage at United than Mourinho or Solskjær. Obviously, this season has been a disappointment, but look at their injury situation. What manager could fix that?

The result could hardly be different against city. It is the manner of the loss that’s frustrating.

It’s ten hag giving up on his principles to play a midfielder like mctominay. He would never have played him at ajax

It’s the fact that there is no progress in buildup. We have no patterns of play in midfield. Our buildup is mostly just hoofing it long.

We haven’t improved in movement, possession, getting the ball to our wingers in isolation, building through the middle .

There is no improvement. That’s what’s making us quit on the manager. There is no style or brand of football. The tactics are changing every game. Mctominay scores two fluke goals and ten hag plays him the next game.

Mount was on a good run of games. Gets benched for the next 3. Why.??

We’re playing vibes and inshallah football. The results hardly matter. I just wanna see us play some football.

What’s also even more stupid is that all this talk follows a game lost against City. Like, okay it hurts more because of the rivalry, but it also happens to be one of the best teams in Europe, if not the best team, and they’ve just completed a treble.

There’s no shame in losing against them, I don’t see why there would be more fuss after this game than after a game lost against a mid-tier club for example.

Richard Arnold will be gone with Sir Jim comes in, so a vote of confidence from him is pretty much worthless. Hopefully, De Zerbi or Xabi Alonso can be tempted to take the job in the summer because Ten Hag ain’t the guy for this job.

You mean Xabi Alonso, the Liverpool midfield legend?

If Ten Hag isn’t the man, what on earth makes you think he is lol?

Man Utd should take the club legend route if ETH gets the sack.

Carrick and van Nistlerooy are decent options.

Rooney might be available soon as well, given the start he’s had at Birmingham.
