My takeaways:
• We are really really fucking good.
• Marmoush is in great form.
• RKM who? Thanks for the €95m.
• imo the first penalty was correct. The arm has no business being up there, and even though it’s pretty clear there was no intent, he makes his body broader by putting his arm into an unnatural position. The ball hits his hand. It’s soft, but it’s fine to give a pen.
• the Meyer contact should’ve been a pen. There’s absolutely no excuse for looking at this and not awarding a pen. It would’ve been the 3-0 and likely decided the game. Bummer.
• Our defense had an off day. While they weren’t really bad they were…leaky?
• Dortmund played like shit. Wtf???
• The referee called multiple offsides against Dortmund that were in fact onside when they were through.
• The ref decided that some things were found seemingly at random. For/against both sides.
• The ref should’ve looked at Larsson pulling Schlotterbeck’s shirt in the box. With his “line” (if you can it that) he should’ve awarded a pen. Or not, who knows? Dude was completely intransparent and unpredictable.
• if that wasn’t clear so far, the ref Robert Schröder was a farce. I have never seen an individual fuck up a game this much. Dude needs to quit football.
• Hauge is an okay player, but his decision making is so bad he’s a hindrance.
• Buta was better than Dina Ebimbe today
• Larsson is the real deal
• Tuta’s forward movement is fantastic
• Koch makes his fellow defenders better. What a player.
• Chaïbi is wonderful, as is Skhiri.
• Our finishing needs to improve. We should’ve been up 5-0 at half time, we were that much better.
Larsson looks very talented and composed at just 19. Some beautiful passes today. He is going to be a baller
