If you instal NoScript into your browser (I use Firefox) it’ll block all the scripts any website uses. Some well made websites will still work regardless of how many scripts you block, but some won’t load at all unless you allow them to run. Vicnews has ~11-13 scripts it uses to run it’s website and seems to be entirely reliant on google; but even when allowing google it doesn’t work so I have to allow all 11-13 scripts for the site to load properly. A lot of websites I visit regularly only need 1, sometimes 3.
