I was watching el clasico today and everyone was diving!
Is this what they teach now at footbal academies? Because I was talking to another dad the other day and he was saying that young kids are thought to dive for every touch.

It’s always an issue and it’s honestly gotten better with VAR leading to less people getting away with bad pen calls, but there used to be some bad bad ones, like 2003 Porto
Yeah, super embarrassing. It’s clear that it’s a cultural thing that is encouraged and taught due to officiating being a shitshow.
It works. Referees are lazy. They barely watch the game and when someone falls, they blow the whistle. The problem is with referees. There’s too much in line for players to not try to get any advantage.
