surprised this wasn’t given i don’t get it
These mistakes never are going to end probably, as long as the refs are getting payed
there’s the liverpool tax
edit: definitely just meant the liverpool game, not the team
That’s such a clear handball I don’t even know what the point of VAR is anymore.
This is so clearly a handball, he uses his arm to keep the ball under his control. That’s honestly shocking that they can’t see it. Won’t matter in the end though I imagine
Complete neutral btw
Here is the replay: https://youtu.be/vilYDREgjXE?si=Vv5YxTSDmOvLhecQ&t=476
It is close, but the ball hits his chest and deflects towards the ground. The arm is bent, but the first contact is clearly on the chest. The question is whether there is a second contact with the arm, or if the arm is pulled away fast enough. I watched it a few times at 0.25x speed. I don’t see the ball make a secondary deflection. I don’t see how it is obviously a hand ball.
Don’t think it was intentional, but defo handball. Just no clue what the rules are and neither did the refs it seems.
“well done boys, good process”
Another apology letter for the PGMOL to write.
Clearly gets an advantage due to the ball hitting the hand, no? I don’t get these rules anymore
That was obviously a handball.
Exactly the same chest to arm handball that Sander Berge did for us at Forest. Even more conclusive if anything.
Of course ours got disallowed. Useless pricks.
VAR is completely arbitrary
That was clearly a handball. WTF?
REPLAY
Var is a fucking joke
His hand brought it down into his path!? Blatant handball how was that not called
What an absolute farce. morons in the var room too afraid to contradict the main ref
