Former Aston Villa and Everton winger Anwar El Ghazi will have his contract terminated at Mainz for a social media post about the Israel-Gaza conflict.
Germany’s collective guilt over the Holocaust has gone way, way, way overboard. There’s a pretty huge gap between a) opposing Israeli war crimes and their indiscriminate murder of innocent civilians; and b) hating Jews and wanting them exterminated. It is not anti-Semitic to oppose the actions of the state of Israel; indeed, many Jews are opposed to them.
Or Namibians. Germany clearly feels comfortable to lecture Namibians, despite the troubling history of colonization and the Herero and Namaqua genocide.
For example, a German envoy complained to the Namibian president about the number of Chinese people in Namibia in relation to the number of German people in Namibia (totally not racist or neocolonial).
It’s kinda crazy that Roma were also exterminated and victim to the Holocaust but the UN didn’t step in and give them a parcel of land in South Asia to ethnically cleanse
thats interesting considering we care about that and they get the same sentiment. but what do i know - im just living here and experiencing it unlike u who read that on the internet or made it up yourself. its also sinti and roma
You lot don’t even give a toss about jews you consider inferior such as Ethiopian Jews. You lot were sterilizing their women and mistreating them and you still have the gall to act like Israel is some bastion of justice and equality.
Lmao not even the Japanese have this much guilt for their war crimes in WW2, especially in China like the rape of nanking. It’s actually insane lol.
Or even the Americans with their disgusting history of war and how countries like Vietnam and Iraq (esspecially falujah) still suffers to this day from the weapons the US used almost 60 and 20 years ago, respectively.

Some redditor said:
“Turns out Germany wasn’t anti-Jews, they’re just pro-genocide”
Only towards jews. Slavs, Romani and poles don’t get the same sentiment
They don’t have the necessary power and influence to make us care. ;)

The crime Germany did to us is so big the guilt for it is infinite and can’t overboard anything
One genocide doesn’t cancel out another. Now they have two genocides on their hands
