Just found & joined Lemmy and so want to add to it by starting a community on a favourite (time & money consuming!) hobby: modular synthesis.
This is my current system although I’m currently building a Befaco Hexmix, Robaux LL8 and a Sonic Potions Penrose quantizer.
I have a new case arriving next month that’s portable so once we can go outside and congregate again, I’m going to look at playing some shows (if I actually have any music and haven’t just disappeared down a noise rabbit hole!)

Another case by Case From Lake and plenty of modules that I managed to acquire through luck such as the ACL Sinfonion for £750!

Nice setup! How do you like the Westlich Performer? I’m looking for a sequencer to complement my Metropolix (which I love – and I see you have its older sibling). I’m currently trying out the Black Sequencer but I’m getting bizarre voltage drops with all of my oscillators, regardless of what case/power supply I pair it with. So unfortunately I’m back on the sequencer hunt, and the Performer looks really interesting.
I really like it and think it’s doors my workflow and what I’m trying to do with my modular
I like creating polyrhythms and polymeters and doing so is really easy with it.
It’s not too much menu diving (each function is one menu deep or multiple functions to one key such as note / note range / probability)

I know a few others that have had it and they felt they got stuck in a particular workflow with it & ended up writing the ‘same song’ repeatedly but that’s not my experience. I also have a Metropolis (the mk1) and I definitely have that with it!

Good to know. Thanks for sharing. Have you had any issues with noise from the screen? I’ve seen some posts about noise from the LED.
None that I’ve noticed. I’ve got a blue screen on mine so not sure if that’s made a difference
