(copying my comment from the anime sub on ml since it seems this thread is a bit empty…)

quiet zero looks like something out of homeworld, except less colorful i guess.

a swordfight in a gundam series and a character is wearing all red and another all white, don’t think i’ve ever seen that before… never ever… (suppose it also kinda does double duty and makes the utena ties more explicit).

i guess the turn on the series’s phrase “even if there’s nothing to gain, i have to move forward” makes suletta’s character growth blatantly obvious if somehow anybody missed it (there’s also suletta thanking belmeria for letting her do things out of her volition).

hey, the lagrange naming of large habitations are back from other gundam series. the orchestral dropin when suletta began her attack with caliburn kinda reminded me of those sawano moments in unicorn.

I’m kind of glad they made the characters’ development easy to follow. The plot has introduced a lot of elements in the recent episodes, so the more tangible character-to-character interactions and growth are an appreciated reprieve. Except for Lauda, who’s actions have exceeded my earthly rotting-flesh-brain logic.

from threads of the other site, the take folks have about Lauda is that he isn’t exposed to a lot of the inner machinations we get to see as the audience and Miorine, being the bride being fought over and later being the very public figure in the president of the Benerit group and presiding over their Gund-Arm tech, can be seen as quite central (and perhaps to the uninformed eye, the cause behind) much of what’s being going wrong in the series and consequently Lauda’s life.
