    Reynoso ball:

Only team in South America with 0 goals and 0 shots on target after 4 games, including none against a Chile side that Venezuela just trashed 3-0

Fewer goals in international qualifiers than San Marino

When is it gonna end, Robbie?

Good win. Feels like we could’ve done a bit more. Finishing is only slight weakness so far. Hopefully Romero isn’t injured.

Honestly I don’t even see a single team coming close to Argentina for the next copa America. The only country in the world that could possibly challenge argentina in my opinion is France and even then it’s a stretch. And I know England has talent but the way they play football I wouldn’t be convinced of them beating Argentina. Luckily England and France are in a different continent so argentina should have an easy win in 2024.

On pure talent alone, France and England can easily match Argentina. The difference is in the level of coaching

There are a few teams in South America that can probably give them a match. Ourselves, for one. Ecuador gave them quite a match for 75’. Of course you can never count Brazil out for too long either, and they’ll have an actual coach by then. Argentina are far and away the best team in the world, but they aren’t infallible. No team is. I think they’re overwhelming favourites, however. It’s a shame since I wanna remain on top of the Copa América list, but it’s very difficult to overlook Argentina for anything right now

4 games with no shots on target.

I’m just wondering why Scaloni looks unhappy throughout the whole match, not even after the goals. It’s one thing to be calm, but he almost seemed to be worried at times.

He kinda always looks like that. It’s like he’s forcing himself not to emote. Even after Di Maria’s goal in the WC final he wasn’t smiling or celebrating, though it looked like he was holding back something.

At this stage, getting a shot on target in qualifiers would be a resounding success for Peru. They look pathetically bad
