Rice neuroengineers designed the first self-rectifying magnetoelectric material and showed it can not only precisely stimulate neurons remotely but also reconnect a broken sciatic nerve in a rat model.

    To clarify, the material is engineered at Rice University, it’s not made from grain.

      Okay, well that’s just wat less interesting. It’ll be great if this helps people walk again. But I also wanted to read about the regenerative properties of rice.
