I originally subscribed to kbin.social/m/pop_os.
I was wondering if it will still be ‘supported’. As long as lemmy.world is federated to kbin it doesn’t matter to me.
Apparently the lemmy.world one is an “official” one built by the /r/pop_os mods, so probably makes sense to consolidate there. But yeah, it’s all still shaking out in general and it probably won’t be clear which is the main community/magazine initially for many places.
The kbin pop_os magazine seems to also be modded by an official mod/employee of system76. I guess they were still testing the waters and for now it seems they decided on lemmy.world. Interestingly there’s also kbin.social/m/System76 with no lemmy.world alternative.
Like you said, things will probably be messy for a bit as everyone settles.
Is there reciprocity between kbin and Lemmy?
