Nice work, thanks for sharing it. Quite like the detail/intensity of the moon; your lighting in general really gives the impression of those weirdly bright late nights.

What I like about using oil paints. I find they are more forgiving than acrylic. I have painted things and have not had a part sit well with me so 4 hours later I could still ‘fix’ it. I enjoy the way they blend, the consistency.
I also enjoy that it can be either frantic or a process that slows you down. You can get your emotions out but there is a gentle stillness that can come from the time spent painting.
And the smell…it creates a sense of nostalgia :p (I don’t smell the cadmiums though, that’s bad)
