I’ve seen 3 or 4, plus a handful of funnel clouds. They look just like the movies in real life. Never actually technically been directly in one, but have heard lots of stories. This guy I apprenticed under years ago was in the Ontario F4 in the 50s. Parents got enough debris clear to get him out the storm cellar to run to the neighbors, he was just a little kid at the time, and the neighbors were all dead.

When I was 8 or 9, a tiny one ripped through the fields across the river behind our house, it was rain wrapped so we couldn’t see anything, but my bedroom window was making cracking noises like it was about to blow out of the casing. My old man was working afternoons so he wasn’t quite home yet, and my mom screaming her head off wasn’t helping matters lol. That’s my worst memory of one.

    She’s a beaut, Clark!

Hopefully just tore up a random field or something not that important, and hopefully everyone’s no worse for wear.
