Just got mine set up this weekend actually. Been awesome so far.
I often have google services break. They tend to start working again after a while. Something gets updated for fixed. For calls, text, and web browsing it’s great. Google maps works sometimes, not all the time. My banking app stopped working but the web app works. Sticking mostly to fdroid apps works fine.
It’s different from what they are used to and they refuse to learn.
